Scale of agency engagement fee and terms and conditions

For placements outside the UK

PERMANENT STAFF

NANNIES

The agency fee will be 15% Gross Annual Salary

MOTHERS HELPS

The agency fee will be 15% Gross Annual Salary

HOUSEKEEPERS

The agency fee will be 15% Gross Annual Salary

HOUSEHOLD STAFF

The agency fee will be 15% Gross Annual Salary


TEMPORARY STAFF (Specified short-term period)

NANNIES

The agency fee will be £75 per week up to 8 weeks

MOTHERS HELPS

The agency fee will be £75 per week up to 8 weeks

HOUSEKEEPERS

The agency fee will be £100 per week up to 8 weeks

MATERNITY NURSES

The agency fee will be £100 per week up to 8 weeks

4.   Should the relevant employment terminate before the expiry of 6 weeks, the fee will be rebated in accordance with the accompanying Scale of Rebate, provided that the Client notifies the Company within 2 days of the termination of employment and has paid the Company's fee within fourteen days of the invoice.  Should the Client subsequently re-engage the applicant within the period of three calendar months from the date of termination, a full fee in accordance with Paragraph 3 becomes payable.

SCALE OF REBATE
A refund of the engagement fee will be made to the employer on the following basis provided that the fee has been paid within 14 days of invoice date.

a. An employee fails to take up their duties and no suitable replacement is found - A FULL REFUND WILL BE MADE
b. A permanent employee leaves their employment within:
         4 weeks from the agreed commencing date - 50% refund
         6 weeks from the agreed commencing date - 25% refund

5.   An introduction fee calculated in accordance with paragraph 3 of these terms will be charged in relation to any applicant engaged as a consequence of or resulting from an introduction by or through the Company, even though the introduction may be made indirectly.

6.   The Company endeavours to ensure the suitability of any applicant introduced to the Client.  The Client shall notwithstanding satisfy him/herself as to the suitability of any applicant, and shall take up any references provided by any applicant and the company before engaging such applicant.  The Client shall be responsible for obtaining work and or other permits, for the arrangement of medical examinations and/or investigations into the medical history of any applicants and to satisfy any medical and other requirements or qualifications required by the law.

7.   All information and introductions are confidential and must not be passed either directly or indirectly to potential Clients or Employees.  The full permanent fee will be charged to the Client if this condition is breached.

8.   The Client should reimburse all reasonable travelling expenses incurred by potential employees who present themselves for interview.

9.   The Client will agree to accept reverse charge (collect) calls from potential employees telephoning long distance.

10. The Company does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from an introduction by the Company or their provision of services or from the acts, omissions or conduct of such introductions.

11.  In the event of the Client making a late cancellation after agreeing to employ personnel a full fee will become due, a charge of £100 will be made to offset administration costs, the balance of this fee will then be paid to the employee as compensation for loss of earnings.

12.  In respect of all staff, the Company acts as introducing agent only and does not directly or indirectly employ staff.

13.  An invoice will be raised on the acceptance of an employee as suitable.    Payment of the Company fee is due on this acceptance and not on  the commencement of employment.

14.  An additional full fee will be charged to the Client when employees return for any further terms of employment.  

ALL PLACEMENTS WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS BEING MET PRIOR TO THE EMPLOYEE LEAVING THE UNITED KINGDOM

i)    That two character references from professional sources have been supplied by the Client.

ii)   The agency registration form and terms and conditions to be completed, signed by the Client and returned to the Company

iii) Contracts of employment between employer and employee must be completed and signed

iv) The Company fee to be paid in full within 14 days of invoice date.
